Howlingbird Named 'Manufacturer Of The Year'

Howlingbird Studio in Falmouth was honored as a regional "Manufacturer of the Year" by the Massachusetts Legislative Manufacturing Caucus on September 25 at Gillette Stadium. Representative Dylan A. Fernandes selected Howlingbird for the award. 

The business, owned by Tom Clarke, designs and produces graphic T-shirts, stickers, flyers and other promotional items for its retail shop on Palmer Avenue and for commercial customers. Mr. Clarke and his team focus on marine biology designs. 

Formed in August 2014, the Manufacturing Caucus includes more than 70 legislators who focus on training for manufacturing employees, encouraging innovation by helping start-ups access resources, and expanding apprenticeship opportunities in key manufacturing sectors.
