Highfield Hall & Gardens Sunday, July 21st 4:00-6:00 pm (Falmouth, Massachusetts): Stephanie Miele will take the audience on a lyrical journey evoking the nostalgic joys of the sea, voyage and home in her beautifully curated and sung program of enchanting tunes from stage and screen, to be performed at Highfield Hall & Gardens on Sunday, July 21st 4:00-6:00 pm. Join vocalist Stephanie Miele and pianist Lucy Banner for “Follow Your Star: Broadway Celebrates the Sea, the Voyage, and Home” featuring musical theater selections by such lyricists and composers as Leonard Bernstein, Peter Allen, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Stephen Schwartz, and Kander and Ebb. These and other composers, authors, poets, and lyricists, have written about the joys of travel, the excitement of the sea, and appreciation for the return home after a long voyage. Stephanie Miele is an accomplished performer and former music educator who delights audiences Cape-wide. She has sung with the Handel and Hayden Society and the Wintersauce Chorale in Boston and has been active in community theater. Ms. Miele has been a guest soloist with the Falmouth Chorale and has appeared at the Cahoon Museum, Highfield Hall, the Cape Cod Cultural Center, the Falmouth Historical Society and at libraries, women’s clubs and charitable organizations throughout the Cape Ms. Miele lives in Falmouth and works as a piano technician. She graduated from the High School of Performing Arts in New York City and obtained a bachelor’s degree from Boston University and master’s degree from Bridgewater State University. $20 members/$30 non-members Registration required visit www.highfieldhallandgardens.org
