Falmouth, MA – Falmouth Community Television (FCTV) is now inviting poets, writers, storytellers, and musicians to take the stage at the next installment of Poetic License with Donna Scheer, happening Wednesday, June 19 at 6 PM at FCTV. This special open mic night isn’t just another local gig—it’s recorded for broadcast and archived for the world to see on FCTV.org and YouTube. Whether you're a seasoned performer or new to the mic, this is a unique opportunity to share your work with a wider audience and have a polished performance to send to friends, fans, and future collaborators. The suggested theme for this month is “Daddy-O”—a nod to fathers, fatherhood, and the cool cats who raised or inspired us—but all interpretations and original works are welcome, whether or not they fit the theme. If you’ve been enjoying open mic nights in the area, this is your chance to be part of one that lasts beyond the applause. Interested artists can sign up by contacting FCTV at tony@fctv.org or sign up at www.fctv.org/pl. Join host Donna Scheer for a welcoming evening of expression, connection, and community—live in FCTV Studio A, where every voice matters and every moment is captured.
