New home on Josiah Path will be available through a lottery for qualifying applicants. Housing Assistance invites potential homeowners to a virtual info session for a new home in Falmouth, on Tuesday, February 18, at 5:30 p.m. Interested homebuyers can register for the info session, which will be held on Zoom, at www.haconcapecod.org/lotteries. The brand new three-bedroom, two-bathroom house is located at 8 Josiah Path, off Brick Kiln Road. Housing Assistance is overseeing the lottery, which is targeted as workforce housing for families. The house will be sold for $251,000 (with $150 monthly HOA fee) to an eligible applicant whose income does not exceed 80% of Area Median Income (AMI). First time homebuyer, income, and asset restrictions apply. 1-person: $68,500; 2-persons: $78,250; 3-persons: $88,050; 4-persons: $97,800; 5-persons: $105,650; and 6-persons: $113,450. Household assets must be no more than $75,000. Applications for the lottery can be found online at www.haconcapecod.org/lotteries. Printed copies are available at the Falmouth Public Libraries, Falmouth Town Hall, and Housing Assistance’s offices in Hyannis and Orleans. The deadline to apply is Friday, March 21, at 5 p.m. The lottery drawing will be held within 30 days of the application deadline.
