Harwich, MA — The Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Cape Cod (HBRACC) and Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod celebrated the HBRACC members who will be participating in the 6th Blitz Build, at a Kickoff Party that took place on June 18th at Stonewood Products in Harwich, MA. Every two years, HBRACC mobilizes hundreds of members and associates who generously donate materials, time, and expertise to build a Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod home. This year’s Blitz Build will culminate in the construction of a home at Jack Delaney Lane in Dennis during the week of September 23rd. The initiative aims not only to address the local affordable housing crisis but also to foster community spirit and provide a local family with a new beginning. April Ducott, President of HBRACC emphasized the collaborative effort behind the Blitz Build, "This project showcases the incredible unity and dedication within our community. Together, we're building more than just homes; we're building hope for a brighter future." The Blitz Build model exemplifies efficiency and impact, enabling Habitat for Humanity to expand its housing initiatives without compromising quality. Wendy Cullinan, President and CEO of Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod, highlighted the significance of these partnerships: "The commitment of HBRACC to fully fund and construct a home in just five days underscores their dedication to addressing the critical need for affordable housing on Cape Cod."
