Murray & MacDonald Insurance Services is pleased to announce that Gabriel DeSouza, CIC, has become a principal of their Insurance Agency effective January 2, 2024 joining Douglas MacDonald, Peter MacDonald, and Sara Giguere. In a time of many mergers and acquisitions, remaining independent is a core Agency value – employees can become owners, furthering the Agency’s commitment to remaining independent. Murray & MacDonald has operated in the community for over 52 years with offices in Falmouth and Bourne. They provide risk management and insurance services to clients both locally and throughout the United States. They represent the insurance industry through both direct and brokered partnerships in property, casualty, life, accident, and health insurance products. Gabriel joined the Agency in 2015 and is now Vice President of Commercial Lines. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree, is a fully licensed property, casualty, life, health broker and holds the prestigious Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. Recently he matriculated into the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter’s program. Gabriel’s parents moved from Brazil to Cape Cod where Gabriel grew up and graduated from Barnstable High School. He is fluent in Portuguese. Gabriel and his wife Deise live in Marstons Mills with their three children. He enjoys the outdoors, playing music, sports, drinking good coffee and serves as Associate Pastor at The Cause Church in Hyannis
