Falmouth Hospital is pleased to announce the first art show since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. The show is entitled “Wildlife Impressions” with paintings by Charles J. Wood, an award-winning oil pastel artist. Mr. Wood is from East Wareham, MA, and has been working in this medium for over 20 years. A two-time graduate of the University of Connecticut in Art and Interior Design, his paintings have won awards in Connecticut, Florida and Massachusetts, as well as internationally as a signature member of the Oil Pastel Society. He has had one-man shows in all three states. This exhibition focuses on wildlife paintings of native birds and turtles to the New England area. His works include ospreys, herons, owls, egrets, land and sea turtles. All pieces are professionally framed and ready for sale. This show is especially intended for families and young children. The show runs from October 1st thru November 30th. The artist is excited to be the opening show of 2023 at the Falmouth Hospital.
