Bourne – Community Health Center hosted its 23rd Annual Golf Tournament at Pocasset Golf Club on Monday, September 11. More than 120 golfers participated in the event, raising funds to support Community Health Center’s mission to improve the health of our community through the provision of equitable, patient-centered, high quality, compassionate health care to all, regardless of ability to pay. The Tournament raised more than $85,000 for Community Health Center’s programs and services, the highest amount in the event’s history. “We are so very grateful for the outstanding generosity from our community that helped make the Golf Tournament a success during our 25th Anniversary year,” said Karen Gardner, Chief Executive Officer at Community Health Center. “This event enables CHC to provide access to essential services for the patients we serve, specifically wellness activities that have had tremendous growth in demand in a post-COVID environment.” Community Health Center is grateful for the generous support of the community for this event, including gold sponsors BizChecks Payroll, Bowdoin Construction Corp., Cape Cod Five, Cape Cod Healthcare, Chapman Funerals & Cremations, Chart Room, Dr. R. Heather Brigham, Katie Edwards and Rick Kelleher placed first in the mixed division. Nick Burke, Michael Dias, Ben Hixon and Al Stanton placed first in the men’s division.
