Mashpee – Community Health Center has come a long way in the last quarter century and is proud to celebrate its 25th Anniversary of improving the health of the community through the provision of equitable, patient-centered, high-quality, compassionate health care to all, regardless of ability to pay in 2023. Each August, Community Health Center unites with other community health centers across the nation to celebrate National Health Center Week. All members of the community are invited to attend an open house on Wednesday, August 9 at their main office in Mashpee at 107 Commercial Street. This free event is open to anyone in the community and will be held from 1:00-3:00pm. All attendees will be entered into a raffle to win a $75 Amazon gift card. This free event will also feature: Free giveaway for the first 20 people (digital scale, electronic toothbrush or CHC hat/jacket), Produce bag giveaways for the first 50 interested attendees from Tufts Health Plan, Blood pressure and body mass screenings, Breast cancer awareness information, Community Health Center and healthy living information, CHC office tours, CHC giveaways and a “stuffy check-up” activity for kids. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet team members, learn about employment/volunteer opportunities, ask questions and apply to become a CHC patient. Information will also be available about CHC services including primary care, behavioral health, dental, pharmacy, gynecology, optometry, lifestyle medicine, telehealth and substance use disorders.
