One of Falmouth’s most successful summer venues, Saint Barnabas’s Great Lawn and tent, located across from the historic village green, is now available to local nonprofit organizations for a discounted fee or by providing volunteer hours for a summer church event. “We are inviting our fellow organizations who are dedicated to helping the community, to use our spacious tent and lawn for summer events,” said The Rev. W. (Will) H. Mebane, Jr., Rector. “They can stage a fundraiser, donor appreciation event, or any other activity at the site. The only limit is their imagination.” The large (40’x80’) white tent with a capacity of 500, features a stage that can be used for concerts or performances. It is centrally located on the Great Lawn a part of the Saint Barnabas’s campus which was designed by the celebrated 19th century landscaper architect Frederick Law Olmsted. “We encourage all Falmouth nonprofits to be a part of the excitement of Summer @ StB’s and to further their outreach on Cape Cod,” said Rev. Mebane. Saint Barnabas’s Episcopal Church is located at 91 Main Street in Falmouth, across from the Village Green.
