Mr. Chapman Joins Funeral Directors Board

William B. Chapman Jr. of Chapman Funerals & Cremations was recently installed as a member of the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Funeral Directors Association at the organization’s annual Funeral Service Appreciation Night held at the Sheraton Hotel in Needham.

“It’s an honor to be a part of this incredible association,” Mr. Chapman said. “This is a group that comes together to share ideas and is dedicated to serving families in need. So I feel privileged to join the board.”

With locations in Bridgewater, East Bridgewater, Falmouth, Harwich, Marstons Mills, Martha’s Vineyard, Mashpee, Nantucket, Wareham, West Falmouth and Yarmouth, Chapman Funerals & Cremations has been serving Cape Cod and surrounding communities for more than 150 years and has remained a family-owned business.

“Our communities have always dealt with loss and grief,” Mr. Chapman said, “but being a part of a group like MFDA means we can continue to serve them in the best, most relevant ways possible today and in the future.”
