October 21, 2022 Falmouth, MA – US military veterans are invited to a complimentary Veterans Tribute Breakfast buffet at the Flying Bridge Restaurant, 220 Scranton Avenue, Falmouth, on Friday, November 11, 2022. Vehicular traffic will be controlled by the Falmouth Police Department. This invitation is reserved and limited to 250 veterans of the US military branches of service (Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy, Space Force) and a spouse or personal assistant. Doors open at 8:00am, breakfast buffet service begins at 8:30am. Program begins at 9:00am and ending by 10:00am. Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank "Red Shirt Friday" volunteers will provide table service assistance and lead in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. The complimentary breakfast is sponsored and hosted by Sam & Judy Lorusso, Linda Zammer, and the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce. Tribute organizer and emcee will be Army veteran, Jay Zavala. The Falmouth Chorale Chamber Singers will perform the National Anthem and America The Beautiful. Invocation will be offered by Rev. Will Mebane, St. Barnabas Episcopal Church. Guest speakers include Carissa April, Vice Chair, Joe Q Veterans Coffee Break, President of the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce, Michael Kasparian, Historian Joe Yukna, Cape Cod Military Museum, and State Senator Susan Moran. Ed Lambert, radio 95WXTK personality, is slated to broadcast veteran interviews while Falmouth Community Television will record the event “live to tape” for scheduled broadcasting. Reservations are required. Due to capacity constraints and to ensure adequate service staffing, veterans must call the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce at 508-548-8500 to be placed on the Veterans Reserved Seating List by no later than 3:00pm, Friday, November 4, 2022. Regrettably, reservations will be discontinued when the seating capacity limit of 250 is reached.
