Falmouth – Community Health Center of Cape Cod and the Barnstable County Department of Health and Environment is hosting a COVID-19 vaccine clinic at the Cape Cod Fairgrounds on Thursday, April 29. Appointments are required to receive the Pfizer vaccine from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Fairgrounds, located at 1220 Nathan Ellis Highway (Route 151) in East Falmouth. The Health Center is grateful to the Barnstable County Department of Health and Environment and the Cape Cod Medical Reserve Corps for their collaboration on this clinic. Community Health Center of Cape Cod has created an online scheduling tool to make it easier for patients and others in the community to view availability and to schedule an appointment. Individuals with an appointment can enter the Fairgrounds through Gate 7 on Currier Road and will be able to remain in their car while receiving the vaccine. All recipients of the vaccine will automatically be scheduled for their second dose of the Pfizer vaccine in three weeks on Thursday, May 20, at the same time and location. The Health Center is part of a regional effort to distribute vaccines.
