FALMOUTH, Massachusetts – April 19, 2021 – Plan your getaway today! Island Queen Ferry announced the launch of a new booking system and mobile app providing travelers with a convenient and easy way to reserve tickets for travel between Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard this coming season. The web-based booking system allows passengers to complete and manage ferry reservations through a new reservation system on the Island Queen Ferry website. Passengers can also download the updated Island Queen Ferry app for both iPhone and Android mobile devices for the convenience of booking and managing reservations right from your phone or tablet. The Island Queen Ferry is a seasonal, passenger-only service between Falmouth, Cape Cod and Oak Bluffs, Martha's Vineyard. Seasonal service will begin this spring on May 28th just in time for the Memorial Day holiday.

“I am excited that our passengers will be able to easily book and manage their travel planning online, while still enjoying the classic Island Queen Ferry experience that generations have enjoyed since 1960,” said company president, Charles Bardelis Jr. The booking engine is called Anchor and was designed and programmed by Hornblower Group.

Island Queen Ferry is committed to passenger safety above all and closely follows daily state guidelines with current protocols to protect passengers’ health as they embark on a new season of ferry service from its dock in Falmouth to arrival in Oak Bluffs, Martha’s Vineyard. In compliance with such guidelines, here’s what to expect when traveling this season.

“The Island Queen’s new online reservation system and mobile app will provide traveling passengers with the ease of securing, managing, and conveniently adjusting their plans at the touch of a button. We believe our focus on safety and following up-to-date protocols will provide passengers with peace of mind when traveling this season as we welcome them aboard, stated Todd Bidwell, General Manager.
