Event Description: Mon-Fri 10am to 4p.m. - Sundays 10am to 1p.m.
An exhibition of mosaic art will take center stage this summer at historic Highfield Hall, a magnificently restored 1878 home of the Beebe family, now transformed into one of Cape Cod's cultural centers. Over 50 mosaic artists who hail from the US and Canada will participate. This juried exhibition is created by Linda Dadak and Jim Bowen, well known mosaic artists from Cape Cod who have installed numerous public mosaics including Cape Cod Hospital and the Shining Sea Bike Path Mural. "We are especially pleased to announce that Sonia King and Lynne Chin will be teaching workshops at Highfield this summer. Both of them are respected as the leading contemporary mosaic artists in North America," says Bowen.

Other workshops include Deb Aldo teaching Pebble Mosaics and another workshop by Bowen and Dadak called "Create a Community Mosaic" where they will join with beginners both young and old to create a public art mural for permanent display in Falmouth.

The exhibition will host numerous activities including a luxury limo bus tour of mosaics on Cape Cod and films and lectures about artists Antonia Gaudi and Isiah Zagar.

This exhibit is free and open to the public. Donations are graciously accepted.
