Join Yves Vandeplas for a refreshing and accessible chair yoga workshop designed for individuals of all ages and abilities. Whether you’re new to yoga or looking for a gentler practice, this workshop will guide you through mindful movements, gentle stretches, and relaxation techniques that can be performed seated in a chair. The hatha yoga practice on chairs allows anybody to go much deeper in poses and breathing exercises than they would be able to go on a yoga mat. It offers access to all the benefits of a traditional hatha yoga practice, with comfort and safety. Developing mobility and strength in a sequence of poses and movements, focusing especially on breath, balance, and flexibility, to maintain and increase vitality. Originally from Geneva, Yves Vandeplas has been teaching Hatha Yoga since 2015. Trained mainly in India, he combines experiences in Hatha Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and Yin Yoga. Yves is also a Reiki master. He is motivated by the joy of sharing the keys to his own transformation and liberation, always in progress. Classes run Mondays and Fridays 10:30-11:30. Please register for your selected dates.
