The Cape Cod Center for Women is growing and has many changes. We are pleased to announce that we have a new name, a new shelter and a new logo! We will now be known as "Cape Cod Shelter and Domestic Violence Services". Our new name and logo better represents who we are and what we do! For many years we were limited to housing only 4 clients/families at a time which meant we had to turn away 40-60 families each and every month. In April we purchased and moved into a ten-bedroom house which more than doubles our capacity to assist more victims of domestic abuse and help them to become survivors. We have a new community children's therapy program that offers counseling to children who are victims of or have witnessed domestic violence. This program includes wrap around services for families to help implement an individualized plan of care for each child. We have an itemized wish list and many naming and giving opportunities at the shelter so if you would like to find out more about how you can help, please do reach out. With our deepest thanks, Diane L.
