Yarmouth, MA (10/12/21) – Take Care Cape Cod is hosting its next CARE About a Clean Cape & Islands Summit “Cape up the Good Work: Growing the Stewardship Collaborative” on November 4. The event will be held 8:30am-1:00pm at the Mid-Cape Conference Center, West Yarmouth. The Summit is hosted by CARE for the Cape & Islands, Center for Coastal Studies and Cape Cod Anti-Litter Coalition. Attendees will hear from Julie Regan, External Affairs Chief & Deputy Director, Tahoe Regional Planning Agency, about how they built Take Care Tahoe into a supportive stewardship collaborative that benefits their community. Local businesses/organizations will present Cape & Islands success stories that show how they built environmental sustainability initiatives into their business model. Attendees will leave energized, with actionable steps to use in their own organization. The event will conclude with a presentation of CARE’s Annual Stewardship Awards. CARE Executive Director, Jill Talladay said, “The Cape and Islands are fortunate to have so many individuals and organizations doing amazing things to take care of this special place. By working collaboratively we can make an even larger positive impact to benefit our residents, visitors and businesses in order to sustain our future.” Who should attend the Take Care Cape Cod Summit?
