Have you had a good clean out during COVID and you need a way to sell your goods? You can sell your unwanted treasures from your car on the Great Lawn of Saint Barnabas’s Church in Falmouth. Members of the Saint Barnabas’s Church are presenting their first Car Trunk Sale on June 12th celebrating the patron Saint Barnabas. People retain all money through their sales. The church charges a fee for a pitch (per car) to benefit Saint Barnabas’s. The term "car trunk sale" refers to the selling of items from a car's trunk. Some sellers are professional traders selling goods, or indeed browsing for items to buy, most of the goods on sale are used personal possessions. Car trunk sales are a way of attracting a large group of people in one place to recycle useful but unwanted domestic items that otherwise might have been thrown away. Items for sale are extremely varied, and includes for example antiques and collectables, flea market items, household items, packaged food, arts and crafts. Car trunk sales are also very popular in parts of Australia, the UK and have a growing presence in mainland Europe. The fees per car are: Early Car Rate (before June11) is $50.
