August 18, 2020 – First Citizens’ Charitable Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of its 28th Annual Academic Scholarship Program. A $5,000 scholarship was awarded to three (3) local high school students from its branch communities across the South Shore, Cape Cod and Southeastern MA. Each scholarship is awarded to deserving students every year who demonstrated a high level of academic excellence, leadership, and service to their community. In addition to the 3 general scholarships, one scholarship, in honor of Barbara Whitehead Silva, former President and CEO of the credit union, is awarded.
