Highfield is excited to welcome Kay Benaroch and Kendra Kohler to our Culinary Staff! Kay Benaroch started to get interested in cooking while watching PBS and Julia Child in the late 1960s. She experimented with multiple types of cooking on her own before enrolling in recreational and then professional classes at The Cambridge School of Culinary Arts in Cambridge, MA. Her cooking experience includes both baking and savory dishes from multiple cultures including French and Italian, Greek, Indian and Thailand. By constantly experimenting with new dishes, spices and techniques she is continuing to fuel her passion for finding and sharing new flavors with other people. Kendra Kohler of Foods to Thrive is a Certified Healthy Foods for Life Program Instructor and Wellness Kids Coach, Certified Community Herbalist and a Private Health Cook who emphasizes Clean Eating. Kendra is passionate about connecting individuals of all ages to vibrant, whole, nutrient dense foods in fun and interesting ways. In addition to working with these nourishing ingredients, Kendra enjoys sharing about how they help us thrive to help empower others in their daily food choices.
