Mashpee – Community Health Center of Cape Cod is partnering with the Cape Organization for Rights of the Disabled (CORD) to provide access and services for individuals with disabilities. The free sessions will take place at the Health Center’s Mashpee office located at 107 Commercial Street. These sessions are currently available for patients of Community Health Center of Cape Cod. Patients can learn more about the upcoming schedule, and can register in advance for a consult by calling (508) 775-8300. The Health Center will refer patients who may be eligible and in need of services to CORD, while CORD will work collaboratively with CHC staff to provide services as needed. The Health Center is delighted to announce this collaboration with CORD in efforts to reduce barriers to accessing health care services and improve the health of those with disabilities. Offering a wide variety of services and specialized programs, Community Health Center of Cape Cod provides quality care for all those in need, regardless of their ability to pay. The Health Center has long standing professional collaborations with many community based organizations, striving to improve the health of the communities they serve. CORD is a Hyannis based non-profit organization founded in 1984 that aims to advance independent living and the rights of people with disabilities. Spanning from a Mobile Food Pantry to Youth Services, CORD helps all people with disabilities pursue the greatest possible quality of life, including access to food, housing and other support services.
