FALMOUTH, MA— Highfield Hall & Gardens presents 13th Annual Holidays at Highfield Fundraiser from November 29th- December 20th. Nature is the guidepost for all things Holidays at Highfield this year! Be warmed by golden light and treat your senses to a winter wonderland inspired by A Passing Fancy, the natural Stickwork sculpture created by Patrick Dougherty currently on view outdoors. Continuing indoors for the most wonderful time of the year, a festive experience awaits. The Holiday house tour delivers style and inspiration, rustic, classic, elegant, or nostalgic, with displays that add to the seasonal feel of revelry and merriment. Holidays connect us to our past as we reinvent and celebrate the present with a warm welcome of bright and dazzling treasures. Event stylist, Rita Pacheco and her talented team return for their 2nd year of holiday decorating at Highfield. Working in conjunction with Highfield’s new Landscape Director, George Chapman, their shared vision and creative talents bring the exquisite A Passing Fancy home for the Holidays! Additionally, Highfield Hall board members and volunteers graciously donated time and energy over the course of this event. Holidays at Highfield’s signature Gift Gallery hosts many new and returning artisan vendors showcasing their goods with a wide range of products, from jewelry to rocking boats! The South Shore Hi-Railers Club returns with their model trains whirring about, and Santa will visit us on December 7th and the 14th at 1pm. A special capsule performance of the Nutcracker will be presented by young dancers from the New England Ballet Theater, and dancers from Cape Cod Ballroom Dancers will swing, step, and glide with merriment showcasing four popular styles of social dancing. Refreshments will be available in our country store, brimming of yesteryear, providing a space to stop and savor the season.
