Hyannis, MA (July 11, 2019) -- The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod announced the appointment of Mary Lenihan to First Vice President, Commercial Relationship Manager. The role marks a return to Lenihan’s commercial banking roots during a career that includes 25 years of leading and working with banking institutions and non-profits across Cape Cod. Lenihan joined The Coop as a Credit Officer in 2015. Prior to that she served as Director of Development at Gosnold on Cape Cod. Her banking experience includes posts at The Bank of Cape Cod and Citizens Bank of Massachusetts, among others. A long-time Cape Codder, Lenihan serves the community in a wide variety of board and committee capacities for the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod, Cape Cod Theatre Company (Harwich Junior Theatre), Cape Cod Foundation, The Rotary Club of Yarmouth and Pause-A-While. Her past volunteer and board positions include the YMCA, Yarmouth and Cape Cod Chambers, Gosnold, Workforce Development, and the United Way.
