Mashpee – Community Health Center of Cape Cod’s Senior Giving Officer Alexandra Speck was named a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) by CFRE International earlier this month. Speck joins over 6,300 professionals around the world who hold the CFRE designation, which is the only accredited certification for fundraising professionals. Individuals granted the CFRE credential have met a series of standards set by the CFRE International, including tenure in the profession, education, and documented fundraising achievement. They have also passed a rigorous written exam testing the knowledge, skills, and abilities required of a fundraising executive, and have agreed to uphold Accountability Standards and the Donor Bill of Rights. Employers and donors who work with the CFRE’s can be assured they are getting a professional who is committed to the best outcomes for their organization and has the required knowledge and skills to fundraise. Speck, who resides in North Falmouth, was hired as a Development Associate at Community Health Center of Cape Cod in October 2016, and was promoted to Senior Giving Officer in April 2018.
