November 27, 2018 Falmouth, MA - Please join the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce our host the Marine Biological Laboratory, for a BAH networking event on Wednesday, December 12th from 5:00-7:00PM. The event will feature remarks from the MBL’s newly appointed director, Nipam Patel, and will offer guests the chance to meet live squid, octopus, and cuttlefish and learn more about the MBL’s groundbreaking new effort to culture these animals in the laboratory with the goal of creating a new marine model system. The BAH will take place in the Meigs Room overlooking Eel Pond, on the 2nd Floor of Swope Conference Center, 5 North Street, Woods Hole. Parking is available in the Lillie Lot, located on MBL Street behind the Lillie Building or in the Swope Lot, located on the corner of Millfield and Albatross Streets. The featured nonprofit will be the Falmouth Service Center, whose mission is to ease stress, reduce hunger and improve the quality of life for our neighbors in need. The Falmouth Service Center (FSC) works to increase self-sufficiency by helping to build networks among clients, neighbors and agencies. The Falmouth Service Center is looking for NEW toys for their Holiday Toy Distribution. Please bring an unwrapped new toy or gift card. Free for members. $10 admission for nonmembers.
