Four 3-bedroom homes will be available by lottery for qualifying applicants. (FALMOUTH MA) – Falmouth Housing Trust invites potential homeowners to a Virtual Info Session for four income-restricted homes in East Falmouth, on Tuesday, August 29, at 6:00 p.m. Interested homebuyers can register for the session, which will be held on Zoom, at: www.haconcapecod.org/lotteries. These stunning brand-new homes offer a generous size of 1,551 square feet, 3 beds, and 2 baths. They are onveniently located on Sam Turner Road in East Falmouth. Affordable homes are available through the lottery application process. Housing Assistance Corporation is overseeing the lottery, which is targeted as workforce housing for families. The homes will be sold for $249,000 to eligible applicants whose income do not exceed 80% of Area Median Income (AMI). Income and asset restrictions apply. The Sam Turner Road project was developed by the Falmouth Housing Trust, with support from the Falmouth Affordable Housing Fund and community donors. “As the number of young people and families exit the Cape because of the high cost of housing, Falmouth Housing Trust is excited to offer these four homes to our workforce who are so important to sustaining our local economy,” said Karen L. Bissonnette, Executive Director of the Falmouth Housing Trust. 80% AMI is as follows: 1-person: $64,450, 2-persons: $73,650, 3-persons: $82,850, 4-persons: $92,050, 5-persons: $99,450, 6-persons: $106,800. Household assets must be no more than $75,000. Applications for the lottery can be found online at www.haconcapecod.org/lotteries and www.falmouthhousingtrust.org. Printed copies are available at Falmouth Public Library-Main Street, Falmouth Town Hall, and Housing Assistance Corporation’s Office. The deadline to apply is Monday, October 16, at 5 p.m. The lottery drawing will be held within 30 days of the application deadline.
