(Hyannis, MA – June 27, 2022) Cape Cod Healthcare will open a new seasonal urgent care center in Orleans on Saturday, July 2, 2022. Located at 42 Route 6A in the Orleans Medical Building, the new center will offer seasonal urgent care services, including the treatment of minor illnesses and injuries for residents, summer residents and visitors. Walk-in COVID-19 rapid testing, on-site X-ray and IV fluid administration will also be available at the facility. No appointment or referral will be required needed to seek care. Urgent Care in Orleans will be open daily through the early fall season as follows: • Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. • Weekends from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. “The addition of seasonal urgent care in Orleans represents our commitment to increased access and innovative care delivery for our community and visitors,” said Michael Lauf, president and CEO, Cape Cod Healthcare. “We are proud to help support the healthcare needs of the lower and outer Cape region with this important service.” Year-round primary care services will also join seasonal urgent care at the Orleans Medical Building later this year.
