Mashpee MA: Sally Fogerty, President of the Cape Cod Children’s Museum Board of Directors, announced Lisa Bates as the new Executive Director of the organization. Lisa has served as acting Director for the past year. She has a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, certification to teach Behavioral Sciences and a degree in Business Administration. From school administrator and non-profit executive, to teacher, coach, counselor and mom, Lisa has extensive experience, knowledge and training working with children from toddlers to teenagers. Currently, Lisa owns and operates LB Living Better the home for her organizational and educational consulting business. She is a sought after presenter, parenting consultant and writer. Lisa is a seasoned, energizing, humorous, workshop presenter with extensive experience. As a mother of three teenagers including twin boys, Lisa maintains her sanity by writing, traveling and playing with her dogs. Lisa says "I have spent my entire career working with children, from cradle to college, and I am thrilled to be working at such a fun, vibrant and happy place as the Cape Cod Children's Museum. Our members love our museum and we have a tremendous staff which makes going to work each day a true joy. We are all working hard to bring new and exciting programs and exhibits to the museum! I am grateful to be a part of this team.” She invites all Cape Cod families to stop by the museum and introduce themselves.
