As of April 1st, 2019, the family trees of Wood Lumber Company and Mid-Cape Home Centers have officially intertwined, anchoring their multi-generational roots even deeper into Cape Cod and the surrounding communities. Both are trusted and respected century-old lumber and building material landmarks. This move strongly reinforces the commitment by these family-owned businesses to stay, prosper, and grow locally. More about Mid-Cape Home Centers: Formerly known as Nickerson Lumber Co,. and finally Mid-Cape Home Centers, this 124-year-old local landmark business has endured many transitions, including one in 2012 when Mid-Cape was passed on from one multi-generational family to another. Since that time, CEO Jeff Plank and the Mid-Cape team have made numerous strategic investments in the company’s infrastructure and support services, including an upgraded delivery fleet, modernized Kitchen Design Centers with on-site specialists, a seasoned Architectural Products Support Team, and a robust Leadership Team.
