Well I think we should revisit Shipwrecked . I went there for lunch today and it was slammed ! There is a very good reason I think . The food has become more upscale and delicious . Please come for a visit and increase your star rating !!! You will not be disappointed . Great job !!!!

My husband and I had cocktails and sushi . Incredible ! Our dining partner has steak tips and had the intention to take left overs home . What left over !!!! Can't wait to go back and try more .

Excellent & reasonably priced . Maybe best water view in Falmouth. We always have friendly attentive service.

Called ahead to ask if they had outside seating, they said yes. But they don't take reservations. We drove almost 2 hours to get there, only to find out they weren't doing outside seating that day because they had an event. Not cool.
Once we arrived, the hostess (teenager) was giving attitude. Didn't feel welcome.
Our waitress (also teenager) and an older waitress were lovely though - very friendly.
The food was average. The garlic butter wings were probably the best thing I tasted out of everything we ordered. The fries tasted stale.
The location is great. Right across from the beach. The tables by the window have a view of the beach.
Metered street parking on the same street was easy to find on a weekday late afternoon.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 25, 2023
After spending a busy day in Falmouth we chose Shipwrecked for dinner, thinking it might be a little less busy being further away from downtown. We were told we would have an hour wait, which ended up being about 80 minutes. After waiting past the estimated period, it took even longer for our waitress to introduce herself, and an even longer wait time in between ordering drinks and entrees. After being seated around 7:30, we did not eat until right before 9:00. The fish and chips was served lukewarm, however the jerk chicken entree was served piping hot. The jerk chicken was a great order for any non seafood eating patrons. Spinach and artichoke dip was a good starter and served with warm pita bread.

Wish I could give 4.5 stars.
Excellent staff, great food, great service, great atmosphere, amazing view. But everyone has a bad day, ordered medium rare steak tips and took 25 minutes to deliver me very very well done tips. My fault I did not say something. This is a must if you only visit Cape Cod once !!!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jim S.Nassau, NY02950Jul 14, 2023
Food, Service, Ambiance always amazing! The prices are excellent being right next to the ocean! Wow, and the windows open! After speaking to the staff at lunch they said the owners treat them extremely well and take good care of their people! We also stayed at the Heights Hotel which was so comfortable and relaxing! The hotel staff was the best! We love them! John, Pauly, at the hotel and Rob at the restaurant and many, many more! Nothing better then right on the Ocean! The view is amazing and you need to see for yourself!
We love the courtyard too! Thank you for a great experience!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Steven A.Shelton, CT47166Jun 14, 2023
The food here was exceptionally good. The wait staff was quick and attentive without being intrusive, the kitchen was a little backed up and the procession of courses was delayed a little. The relaxed atmosphere was open and airy with all the hinged windows open to the sights and sounds of Falmouth Heights Beach. My wife and I both agreed this will be our new go to for our yearly trip to Falmouth, MA.

Cons: steamers not cleaned properly / at all. I should have said something but we were hungry and I didn't. I've never in my life seem this much sand etc in steamers. (I also had a problem at a place in Wellfleet where they didn't do a decent job either a few years ago) I can't fathom why they aren't cleaning them on the cape.
Pros: shrimp cocktail was good
It was nice to have the windows open to the air
Rest of the food was fine.
Service was fine as wellHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We apologize that you received a batch of sandy steamers. Our steamers are delivered fresh every day and we immediately soak them to remove as much sand as possible. Unfortunately, some batches received are sandier than others and we do our best to assure that the product being served is top quality. If there is an issue with any item delivered to your table, we are always happy to address and rectify the problem in real time- please don't ever be hesitant to let your server know of any issues! We hope to have the chance to serve you again and get the opportunity to provide a top quality meal.

Food is delicious. Great variety from burgers, to seafood. Our waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable. She answered all of our questions and made good suggestions.
The setting was perfect with large windows opened to the outside. The view was spectacular overlooking our favorite beach.
They do not take reservations so get there early to put your name on the wait list. It is definitely worth waiting!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Cindy L.Franklin, MA565584Jun 25, 2023
We stayed near this restaurant and were looking for lunch by the beach so we gave it a try. We were seated outside within 5 minutes of arrival and it was right after noon on a Sunday. There are 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids, age 8 and 11). We were greeted immediately by a friendly waitress and we got water and some simple beverages. The second round we got the kids a frozen lemonade and a virgin strawberry daiquiri. The drinks were delicious! A lot of other tables ordered Pina coladas and mudslides...it looked delicious!
We put in an app of heaping nachos while we looked at the menu. It arrived and the portion was HUGE! We then had a bowl of clam chowder, the Ship-fil-a, the fish burger with fries, and the fish tacos with sweet potato fries. Everything arrived and was fresh and delicious. The burgers were HUGE! While the food was great, the staff seems to be a little less attentive. They left a lot of empty cups and plates on our table as they tried to pile our main course onto the small table. They kept adding refills in new cups but didn't take away the empty ones... They were respectful and nice so I'd definitely be back again. Maybe we'll order takeouts next time .Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
