Orleans, MA – Nauset Disposal is hosting the company’s annual food drive, Curb Hunger, beginning on November 6 and running through November 17, 2017. This unique food drive allows residential disposal customers the opportunity to donate non-perishable food items to the Family Pantry of Cape Cod by leaving a bag of goods next to their trash containers on customers’ scheduled day of pickup. “It’s important to remember that when we work together, we can make an amazing impact. Our annual Curb Hunger campaign is a way for Nauset Disposal and our customers to work together to help community members in need,” says owner of Nauset Disposal, Shawn DeLude. Christine Menard, Executive Director, states, “The Family Pantry of Cape Cod is again honored to partner with Nauset Disposal as we try to reduce hunger across the Cape.” The Family Pantry is located in Harwich and is the largest pantry on Cape Cod. It is open to anyone in need, providing both food and clothing. Nauset Disposal encourages customers and community partners to participate in this program. Additional donations can also be dropped off at Nauset Disposal headquarters, 3 Rayber Road in Orleans.
