January 24, 2017- The Cape Conservatory launches its spring semester the week of February 6. Along with a full roster of enrichment classes for youth, the Conservatory offers music and art classes for adults. “The Bucket List” features several group music classes for adult beginners, including piano, guitar, ukulele, violin and voice. Adults with relative proficiency on an instrument can join an instructional ensemble, including flute choir, string ensemble, jazz and rock bands. For adults interested in visual arts, the Conservatory’s Art Appreciation class will explore the art and architecture of Boston. Students may take an optional cultural caravan day trip to Boston’s Back Bay for a tour of Trinity Church and the public library. In March, Music Appreciation commences, which culminates in a concert featuring the Cape Symphony Music Memory Orchestra conducted by Jung-Ho Pak.
