New Express Café will donate 10% of sales for first month of business to hospital auxiliary. The Casual Gourmet is pleased to announce the opening of its newest Express Café location at Falmouth Hospital. The café, which opened earlier this month, is the fourth off-premise outlet for the catering and foodservice company which is headquartered in Centerville. In addition to an onsite breakfast and lunch restaurant, the Centerville location serves as the base of operations for the company’s Cape-wide catering services. The Casual Gourmet, which celebrated its 30th anniversary this month, currently operates Express Cafés at Cape Cod Hospital, the Hyannis Youth and Community Center, and Heritage Museums & Gardens. The Casual Gourmet Express Café at Falmouth Hospital is similar to the company’s café located at Cape Cod Hospital. It is centrally located to conveniently serve both visitors and hospital employees, and includes grab and go sandwiches, made fresh throughout the day at the café, along with homemade baked goods and soups made daily at the company’s headquarters and delivered each morning. Fresh fruit, snacks and beverages, including freshly-brewed coffee, bottled water, juices and soft drinks, are also available. The café is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. A 10% discount is offered to hospital employees on all purchases. To mark the opening of The Casual Gourmet Express Café at Falmouth Hospital, Owner Olive Chase has a made a commitment to donate 10% of the café’s gross revenue for the first month of operation to the hospital’s auxiliary whose mission is to “…to promote and advance the welfare of Falmouth Hospital,” according to the organization’s website.
