Hope Hospice, part of the HopeHealth family of services, announced new community bereavement support groups to be held in Brockton, Buzzards Bay, Falmouth, Hyannis, Orleans and Yarmouth Port beginning in March. All support groups provide a safe, confidential and supportive setting for anyone experiencing loss or grief. Programs are led by licensed professionals from Hope Hospice with specialized training and extensive experience. The new support groups are Loss of a Parent, Spousal Loss and Young Widowed Persons. These groups are designed for people experiencing the loss of a loved one in the past year. Registration Advanced registration is required for all support groups. Bourne Council on Aging 239 Main Street, Buzzards Bay Spousal Loss Group, Thursdays, March 10 – April 21, 2016, 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. This group supports adults who have lost their spouse or significant other in the past year. HopeHealth Falmouth office 359 Main Street, Falmouth Young Widowed Persons, Wednesdays, March 16 – April 27, 2016, 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 p.m. This group supports adults under 55 years old who have lost their spouse or significant other in the past year. HopeHealth Hyannis Office 765 Attucks Lane, Hyannis Loss of a Parent, Tuesdays, March 15 – April 19, 2016, 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. This group is designed to help adults who have experienced the death of a parent or parents in the past year. Spousal Loss, Fridays, March 18 – April 22, 2016, 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. This group supports adults who have lost their spouse or significant other in the past year. Orleans Council on Aging 150 Rock Harbor Road, Orleans Spousal Loss Group, Wednesdays, March 16 – April 20, 2016, 3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. This group supports adults who have lost their spouse or significant other in the past year. Heatherwood at Kings Way 100 Heatherwood Drive, Yarmouth Port Spousal Loss Group, Tuesdays, March 8 – April 5, 2016, 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. This group supports adults who have lost their spouse or significant other in the past year.
