Under the general supervision of the Environmental Services Manager, with daily direction and scheduling provided by the Environmental Services Supervisor, the Environmental Services Staff is responsible for the cleaning of all MBL facilities including the upkeep of all offices, laboratories, workshops and other MBL facilities, housing- dorms, apartments, houses and cottages.
Experience Required:
Maintain assigned areas set forth by supervisor and/or manager. This includes the cleaning of all floors, offices, labs, classrooms/auditoriums, halls, common areas (including stairs), rest room facilities, doorways, and entrances immediately outside of assigned area (including snow removal). Sweep, scrub, refinish, polish and strip floors using brooms and mops and power scrubbing swing machine and floor machines. Clean carpets, to include vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting. Strip and remake beds; bundle soiled linen; clean guest rooms, bathrooms, dust and sanitize flat surfaces; empty trash; vacuum, sweep, dry mop, and wet mop rooms, hallways, stairways, and other public areas; wash walls; move linens to and from drop-off locations. Provide setup and cleaning support of conferences in all MBL areas. Serve as Category II Essential Personnel during emergencies. Expected to be available to prepare for a storm, and take steps to restoring normal operations as soon as possible after an event, performing relief and clean-up duties. Serves as a member of the MBL Storm and Snow Team, taking direction from the Storm Manager. Assist in moving furniture and other contents from building to building as required. Report any unsafe conditions immediately to the Environmental Services Supervisor and/or the Environmental Services Manager. Work as a team with other MBL Staff to accomplish special projects or provide backup to other staff members. Assist Environmental Services Supervisor with spot checking rooms before guests check in. Perform miscellaneous tasks including but not limited to changing light bulbs, responding to emergencies, etc. Perform other duties as required and/or assigned. SKILLS REQUIRED: Must have the ability to follow directions and be attentive to detail. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and cleaning equipment required. Strong interpersonal skills required including the ability to communicate positively and politely with clients, visitors, and other MBL staff. Must be able to read and interpret written instructions and labels as they pertain to equipment and products used by the department.

The Government Access Assistant will take a leading role in the production and support of government-related content for government access television. The First Congregational Chruch in Falmouth, MA offers a unique opportunity for a gifted organist and pianist. The music program consists of an Adult Choir with approximately 30 voices. Choir rehearsals, on Thursday evenings from 7:00pm - 8:30pm, are a mandatory part of the organist position. The choir sings during Sunday services approximately 42 weeks out of the year (September through Memorial Day). The current Music Director will maintain the position of conductor and can fill in as substitute organist. Christmas Eve, Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday will be required services, all other Sundays are negotiable. An average Sunday service contains 2-3 hymns and one anthem accompanied on organ or piano. In addition, the choir has performed large scale works by Rutter, Vivaldi, Stainer and others. The church has a 40 rank Austin Pipe Organ and a Steinway Grand in the sanctuary. Other instruments include three upright pianos, a Steinway Grand in Fellowship Hall, a 4-octave White Chapel handbell set and an Allen practice organ in the music room. Current Stipend will be $150.00 p/service regardless of if it's a rehearsal or service and all instruments are available for practice, teaching, and coaching. Repositioning and turning bedridden residents; assisting those who need help walking or assistance transporting in wheelchairs. Providing for activities of daily living by assisting with preparing and serving meals, feeding patients as necessary, and providing fresh water and nourishment between meals. Examining residents to detect issues requiring medical care, including open wounds, bruises, or blood in the urine. Reminding residents to take medications and nutritional supplements. Noting observations of patient behavior, including complaints, or physical symptoms. Documenting actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records. Maintaining work operations by following policies and procedures. Protecting the organization’s value by keeping residents’ information confidential. Other Tasks Light housecleaning (sweeping floors, running the dishwasher, etc.) Laundry and making beds Running errands (shopping, picking up medications, dry-cleaning, etc.) Getting the mail Help with correspondence: letters, emails, social media, etc. Playing games and helping with hobbies Supervision when there is a risk of wandering or self-injury

Project Manager. F/T position working directly with the Director of Construction on all aspects of our affordable home construction program. Must have experience leading crews in wood-frame construction. Responsibilities will include assisting Construction Director in oversight of all building sites and all elements of the construction process from preparing and submitting permit applications, site development work, home construction in accordance with plans, permits, code and Habitat standards through the finish site/landscaping work and warranty responses Contracting, procurement, scheduling, generation of project budgets, construction training of volunteers, and coordination with other staff and lead volunteers. Requires: Minimum 3 years of experience as lead carpenter framing quality wood constructed homes tight to the weather, incl. setting sills & girts, wall layouts and raising walls and gable ends, producing rafter patterns, roof framing, roofing, and siding, exterior and interior trim, installing windows and doors, cutting stair stringers.
