Liam M.
Rich in history and boasting with tradition, Main Street has been home to good times in Falmouth for over a century now. When our family moved Liam Maguire's Irish Pub to 273 Main Street in 1994, we made it a promise to continue this local legacy in our own way. If over a dozen beers on tap and a menu of homestyle favorites and Irish classics doesn't hit the spot, maybe our live local entertainment will do the trick. Check our schedule to see who's performing -- you might get lucky enough to see a performance from Liam himself. At age 24, Liam began performing in Ireland before traveling Europe and finally settling down in the US. Now, he and his family blend this special history with the traditions of Cape Cod to offer a delightful pub experience with every visit.

Of all the pubs around the world, this one will always feel like home to me. The best spot to watch the Celtics.
Great weekly entertainment calendar ranging from trivia to Irish music to dancing.
Great pub food and they know how to pull a Guinness. Can't go wrong.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Bob L.Ellington, CT269Jan 7, 2024
I've been there 2x. Once for dinner and I was ill for 24 hours after. 2nd time for a drink. $25 for a pint of beer (tap) and a 6 oz glass of Pinot noir. I'm guessing the tender pocketed $5+ for himself.... If not the place is prohibitively expensive. Either way... awful.

We seriously cannot thank you enough, Richard. Your incredibly kind words and enthusiasm really mean the world to everybody here. Thank you so much for everything -- we can't wait to welcome you back again real soon!
Best wishes,
Maguire's FamilyDec 12, 2020Previous reviewLiam's has endured during a very trying year and they survived the worst that the shutdown had to give. I hope that it is over.
We are glad that Liams endured. It is a first class Irish Pub with great food and drink with a great atmosphere. Falmouth is a better place with Liam Maguires. Also the owners two sons have stepped up and will take the restaurant into the future. The menu is great and I never leave hungry. - P S.Worcester, MA022Jul 2, 2023
. I would hav given this place a zero rating if it was available. One of the worst restaurants I've ever gone to. My wife had to send back a BLT, you know the place is bad when you can't make a BLT had 1&1/2 pieces of thick cut undercooked bacon with No flavor. Fries were okay and chicken tenders were okay for being frozen. Chicken Caesar salad was sad the chicken was over microwaved.
The only reason I gave a 2 rating was because of the waiter, he was okay, and you can't take a bad Meal out on the wait staff. We will never go back.
This place is outdated at best. Is in need of an overhaul, it's making money on an unknowing tourist population. Even the drinks tasted watered down! Overall just a sad experience, when we got the bill they didn't even take the nasty BLt off the bill.
I had to go back and take a point away. The waiter was not worth 2 points.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Beth K.Bridgeport, CT0297Aug 9, 2023
We arrived in the early afternoon with a party of 18, 4 children under 6 among us.
They put tables together and got us going efficiently. The food was good, burgers, chicken tenders, salad etc.
2 of the burgers were over cooked, but the rest were good. The fries, of all kinds were excellent. The kids tenders were a very sizable portion. We were not felt rushe to go, and service was very good, for a party our size. I did not get our waitresses name but she was friendly and took good care of our group,Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Jul 8, 2022

Very few Irish dishes. Lobster in the lobster roll was over cooked and the roll was hard. Vent was dripping water on me and they knew it was leaking
Live music was not Irish. Prices charged were not the prices on the menu.
Service was normal, once you got served you didn't see the wait person for a long time.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Terry T.Boston, MA29May 23, 2023
Went there for lunch. I ordered Irish egg rolls after waiting for some time and was told they didn't have them I ordered a pound of buffalo tenders that were barely edible. They were tough and dry and while they were a little spicy but with no discernible buffalo sauce flavor.
Just terrible. I probably ate three. My dining companion could not finish one.
I packed them in a. To go box but left them there because I knew I wouldn't eat them and I would just end up throwing them out.
It will be a long time ( if ever ) before I go backHelpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1
