Once more, those of us who attend the concerts realize what a "treasure" we have in conductor Jan Ho Pak. Yesterday's concert was no exception! It was another "thoughtful" program assembled by
Dr. Pak, aimed at young people, but the program was thoroughly enjoyed by all who were there. We always sit in the last row in the balcony, we've had the same seats now for at least eight years. It gives us the breadth of the orchestra, and with the acoustics of the hall, a transporting experience with the music. Our heartfelt thanks to the Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra, it's conductor and all involved.
Looking forward to the Holiday concert.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Joan C.Sandwich, MA017Dec 5, 2022
Attended the Holiday concert performance this past weekend and it was outstanding. Every year we attend it never ceases to amaze me how fantastic this concert is.

This is a fine community orchestra and I have enjoyed many performances. What a great asset to culture on Cape Cod-much easier than going to Boston! I have been to a number of performances and have enjoyed all.
However, I have to say that the Holiday concert this year missed the mark. it was usurped by the Annie Moses Band, who was the guest artist. As good as they were, it felt like it was an Annie Moses concert with Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra and even more sadly, The Chatham Chorale as backup performers. Even the Children's Chorale performance was overshadowed by the lead singer of the Annie Moses band.
I haven't done a review before for Cape Cod Symphony and so didn't want to rate them on this performance alone, but I and I am sure many others weren't happy with this
will continue to enjoy this local symphony and hope that next guest artists don't overpower our beloved local performers.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
