Event Description:
The Woods Hole Film Festival is pleased to present Dinner & A Movie 2016/2017, a monthly screening series of independent films from November through May. On the night of each screening, ticket purchasers may present their ticket prior to the film for discounts and special offers at participating restaurants. The Captain Kidd - 77 Water Street Quick’s Hole Tavern - 29 Railroad Ave. Water Street Kitchen - 56 Water Street The screenings take place at WHOI’s Redfield Auditorium and start at 7:30 p.m., unless otherwise noted. The facility is wheelchair accessible. All screening information will be posted on the Woods Hole Film Festival website and Facebook page. Raised on hip-hop and foster care, defiant city kid Ricky gets a fresh start in the New Zealand countryside. He quickly finds himself at home with his new foster family: Aunt Bella, Uncle Hec (Sam Neill), and dog Tupac. When a tragedy threatens to ship Ricky to another home, both he and Hec go on the run in the bush. As a national manhunt ensues, the newly branded outlaws must face their options: go out in a blaze of glory or overcome their differences and survive as a family.
